TEEJAY’S

I graduated from Bangalore with a degree in Business Management. Throughout my academic life, I was known as a topper who loved learning, accepting new challenges, and constantly striving to improve.

During my college years, I was fortunate to build close friendships with students from Afghanistan, the Uzbek region, and Iraq. Sharing meals with them introduced me to the rich flavours and traditions of Middle Eastern and Central Asian cuisine. Those experiences planted a seed that would later shape my life.

After graduation, destiny led me into the kitchen. I started from a small food cart, serving biryanis with nothing more than determination, hard work, and a dream. For the past 10 years, I have devoted myself to learning, experimenting, and refining my craft. Every day has been another opportunity to become a better chef than I was yesterday.

For me, cooking is more than a profession — it is my passion. The excitement of creating something new, perfecting every spice blend, and seeing people enjoy my food is what drives me every morning. I don't believe great chefs stop learning. Many of the recipes served at Teejay’s have been developed in my own kitchen after years of experimentation.

To me, success isn’t measured by titles or awards. It is measured by the smile on a guest’s face after the very first bite.
